Join us on Saturday 19th November at Wisbech’s recently restored Victorian Cemetery for an evening of sinister and spooky tales!

The Venue

Located in the heart of The Fens, Wisbech General Cemetery is a great location for an evening of spooky stories!

The Writers

Joining me for the evening are three talented horror writers who will be reading from their work. There will be a chance to purchase their books during the event too.

Adrian Chamberlin

Adrian Chamberlin is a British writer of dark fiction and lives in the small south
Oxfordshire town of Wallingford that serves as a backdrop to the UK television series Midsomer Murders, not far from where Agatha Christie lies buried, dreaming in darkness.

He is the author of the critically acclaimed supernatural thriller The Caretakers as well as numerous short stories in a variety of anthologies, mostly historical or futuristic based supernatural horror. He edited the 2016 supernatural warfare novella collection Darker Battlefields for the Exaggerated Press and his novella The Silent Towers was shortlisted for Independent Legion’s Inferno award in 2018. His second novel Fairlight is forthcoming from Bloodshot Books.
He’s aware of the concept of “spare time” but swears it’s just a myth.
Further information can be found on his website: www.archivesofpain.com

Joseph Freeman

Over the past 30 years, Joseph Freeman has published 17 books, and more short stories and articles than he can remember. Recent works include the novels ‘The Cold Heart of Summer’ and ‘Arcadia Lodge’, and the short story collections ‘They Come at Dusk’ and ‘Elsewhere and Otherwise’. Much of his work is based on his own experiences of, and research into, the supernatural. He is also the creator of the highly successful series of ‘Midsummer Macabre’ and ‘Winter Tales’ events, featuring appearances by some of the living legends of the horror world.

Susan York

Six of Susan York’s short stories have been published in various anthologies and a journal. Last year, Midnight Street Press published her novelette, On the Cusp of Sleep, and this year sees the same publisher launch Susan’s story collection, Starless and Bible Black which was launched at FantasyCon.
Susan York’s collection Starless and Bible Black is a fulsome, wide-ranging and welcome publication from a British genre author who is certainly one to watch. And read. Heartily recommended.” Allen Ashley

I’ve very excited to join this fanstastic line up of authors. If you want to come along, pick up a free ticket from EventBrite. There will be some nibbles provided, but feel free to bring along some snacks and a drink to really get into the spirit of the evening!

The author will also have some of their titles for sale which could make excellent Christmas gifts for the horror fans in your life.
